As expected school is going to make it hard to dish out weekly uploads, and, in my eyes, I have already failed it for this week since I believe weeks to begin on Sunday (which is why I don't really upload on Sundays...). I'm entering into a semester with a lot of English (which I despise as a school subject), so I don't think I'll be able to prioritize videos over that--work for those classes will take a TON of willpower.
Every time I finished a video I had to immediately think of the next one since it always takes time to edit something. I'm also currently trying to work on other things such as the aforementioned ports, mods, and even other videos. I felt as if I kind of had to dish out whatever I had on my computer to make the deadlines, which is what brought the AI videos, which I likely would've put on the Hotel Mario channel in any other instance. Due to the weekly upload schedule, I can no longer guarantee that all of the 10 year celebration videos will come out before this August. I will still, however, try my best to get them done at some point. The weekly upload schedule also put the other YouTube related things on hold: I didn't upload any OST onto Hotel Mario, toss aside AI videos onto Hotel Mario, toss some videos into the extras channel, or even upload any shorts to promote growth.
I have tons of things planned to upload--it's just that I don't have an exact "direction" of how I want to execute certain videos such as the next in the flip series. Stuff like new SM64 Ports takes a while to come up with due to the format of Season 2 and the fact that I'm trying to create some midis from the ground up. I CAN dish out the rest of the MK64 Ports at some point, but those still take an hour of my day, which I can't afford to really lose at the moment. I will dish the rest of them out ASAP and that will be it for the ports I made 4-5 years ago. I have a few new ideas that might require a proper script as well, which isn't really possible with a weekly upload schedule.
In short, the weekly uploads are done for the time being, marking my first completed "goal" for the 10 year anniversary special. I feel like, in some sense, it inhibited growth, and I won't be able to do it with all of the other things I should focus on in life (health, career, other hobbies [that may turn into videos!]). I hope that at some point I can be consistent with uploads, however, now isn't the appropriate time to do so.
