Thank you! There is strong evidence for the credibility of the Bible, but as Scripture states, Satan has blinded the minds of the unbelievers. Billions of people since the dawn of time cannot see, and will never believe, even if Christ should appear before them.

Thank you, Dr. Chaffey, for confirming what most already know but deny, the absolute inerrancy of the Word of God!

Love this! Now I just need to remember this information and then- knowing people are gonna ask “which cities?” “Where did you see that?” Among many other questions- I need to research so I can back this up on a deeper level.

Very well written. I stand behind all of those claims, and as a layperson who has studied all of these evidences to some extent or another, I would say they are great affirmations of our faith. However, the experience I have had on this earth, is the greatest affirmation of God’s word. The Bible is 💯 correct on human nature. Men don’t write books like the Bible, it is unique in its claims and completeness. If it was made up, it would not have stayed basically unchanged

I feel like the only people who will read this entire post are the people that value science and intellectual honesty. Christians don't have the attention span most times unfortunately, hence why they need to cherry pick and presuppose univocality

It is sad that some believers I attended Church with said they believed Jesus' Resurrection but not in 6 day Creation. It grieves me that my former pastor called Genesis 1-11 myths. The Holy Spirit convicted me on not believing He Created in 6 Days. I repented and began reading AIG books and articles. God created in 6 Days, and Jesus was the Word who spoke everything into existence (Based on John 1). This was the most amazing miracle. It is good AIG and other young earth groups have scientists but my point is that if you believe in the Resurrection, why not believe in 6 Day Creation?

Thank you for sharing this. I share your belief in the authority and truth of Scripture, and I affirm that Christ is Lord over all, including science. But I hope you’ll receive this in the spirit it’s intended: a sincere concern that when we make claims that are scientifically inaccurate or easily debunked, we may unintentionally drive people away from the faith we’re trying to defend. The gospel doesn’t need to be propped up by weak or misleading scientific claims. When someone begins to wrestle with their faith and they start fact-checking what Christians are saying about the natural world, and quickly find that many of those claims don’t hold up, it doesn’t strengthen their trust in Christ. It can do the opposite. It can lead to the heartbreaking conclusion that Christianity rests on shaky ground, or worse, that we have to “lie for Jesus.” We must never give that impression. The truth is on God’s side. We have nothing to fear from careful inquiry. For example: - Soft tissue in dinosaur fossils: This is often cited as evidence that dinosaurs only died a few thousand years ago. But the original research does not support that conclusion. The scientists involved proposed mechanisms for preservation over millions of years (like iron-mediated cross-linking), and further peer-reviewed studies have expanded on that. No credible paleontologist interprets it as evidence against million-year time periods. To say otherwise is misleading. - The “Great Unconformity”: Geologists have studied this erosional surface for over a century, and it’s well-understood within the context of plate tectonics and sedimentary processes. It spans hundreds of millions of years and doesn’t match what we’d expect from a single, year-long global flood. Suggesting that all mainstream geologists are just ignoring the evidence isn't fair, as many are Christians themselves. - The “created kinds” argument: Modern biology doesn't recognize "kinds" as a scientific category. Genetic studies show that all life shares a deep, branching tree of relationships, including many shared genetic errors (like pseudogenes and endogenous retroviruses) that point to common ancestry. Speciation, even observed in the lab, shows that variation isn’t just within fixed "kinds." We shouldn’t build theological arguments on definitions that science doesn’t use. - Flood legends in many cultures: Yes, there are many, but they vary widely in detail. Their existence shows that floods are a powerful part of human storytelling, not necessarily that they all stem from the biblical flood. Just as many cultures have creation stories, the diversity of those narratives doesn’t confirm one over the others. The same goes for comets, archaeology, and other topics raised. For instance, when we cite the discovery of Hezekiah’s seal or Assyrian records that align with biblical events, those are wonderful confirmations of biblical history. But when we mix that with unsound science (like young-earth timelines that contradict overwhelming geological and astronomical evidence), it undermines our credibility, especially among students, scientists, and seekers who are already struggling to reconcile their faith with the real world. We do a disservice to Christ when we treat the Bible like a science textbook or use it to make claims it was never intended to make. The Bible is fully true, but it’s not a manual on physics, biology, or geology. Its purpose is redemptive, to point us to Christ. If the heavens declare the glory of God (Psalm 19:1), and if all truth is God’s truth, then we can engage with the findings of science without fear, and without needing to twist data to fit a particular model. I believe with all my heart that Jesus is the truth. But if people see Christians making claims that are demonstrably false, especially in an age when these things can be checked in seconds, they will conclude (rightly or wrongly) that our faith is fragile, or worse, dishonest. We owe it to them, and to our witness, to be careful. So please, let’s not give the impression that Christians have to “choose between the Bible and science.” That’s a false dichotomy. The real question is whether we are willing to let both Scripture and the created order speak truthfully, without forcing one to say what it doesn’t mean.

if you accept the hypothesis that the entire Bible was written by approximately 40 scribal authorities, you in turn can not hold the believe that Moses wrote the pentateukh. The methods used to distinguish between authors are used to show us that the pentateukh was written by multiple people

This is circular logic and is essentially saying: the Bible is true because it says it’s true. The “word of God” in the Bible typically refers to the spoken word of living prophets and apostles. We know the Bible is true because of words of ancient and modern prophets and apostles.

Creationism and science denial and misrepresentation go hand in hand - this post is evidence of this

Actually the evidence points to the opposite. The mere fact that light from objects 13 bn light years away shows the universe is at least that age, the fact that it is red shifted confirms it is expanding and indeed the CMBR confirms that Big Bang is the best explanation for the universe as we see it now. Archaeology completely dismantles the Global Flood myth, whilst geology and paleontology provides evidence that evolution is the best explanation for the diversity of life on this planet....what supporting evidence do you have?

Everything Existing is composed with INFORMATION, which is the information that is the LIVING WORD of YHWH❤️. Is is LIVING, meaning ACTS in REAL LIFE, is physical real-reality INFORMATION. The Bible IS the LIVING WORD of GOD❤️. However, the written down information has been SUBJECTED to intentional ERRORS by certain talmud rabbis that were afraid of loosing their prestigious life-style if the Truth would be found out. Such rabbis then have introduced words or concepts, altered some contexts and wording, embelished some "prophets" speach to get some self-benefiting narrative going, etc. Christians do NOT realise these INTWNTIONAL rabbinic INTERFERENCES, because Judaism is an EXCLUSIVE religion, NO external people allowed to get access to their society and religious practices. Rabbinic judaism is ev3n more exclusive since talmud and cabala rabbis EXCLUDE Torah rabbis. Only people within those communities may have some type of access to a bigger overview of what was actually done to the scrolls of Scripture. Rabbis were more keen in keeping the prestige and control over their shiva-community than to be honest persons. They like the role of MIDDLEMEN, preventing vthe people from addressing YHWH❤️DIRECTLY, made the people believe they were worthless sinners and could never access God, and CONVENIENTLY even removed the HOLY NAME of YHWH❤️ from prayers, or from being mentioned under the punishment "you will be cursed if you do so". Intimidation, fearmongering, cursing were (still are, unfortunately) the most common form of fearmongering so they would keep their prestigious CONTROL. Failing to ynderstand this bit of rabbinic "habits" = flawed results, halftruths. For example frocing the people to stop addressing FATHER YHWH❤️ DIRECTLY led to the emotional DISCONNECTION, DECOUPLING with God, which favoured the spread of evil-pagan beliefs further since GOD became too IMPERSONAL, people NOT really able to relate to a father with "no name". Who is the human that calls their cat"cat", their dog"dog"...?? The most horrifying aspect of suche evil-led rabbinic "well meant" decision is that JesusCHRIST❤️ would have NOT been at all accepted had He called the Father by His Name "YHWH", because that malevolent vile LIE had endured so long. In 2025, we Christians still call God ❤️by "God", a nameless Father. This is the consequence of the ugly legacy of vile rabbis INTEREFERING in the OT/Torah/... Not recognizing, realising these insidious nuanced interferences leads to start journeying on PARALLEL paths to CHRIST's Path by believing in things that were said in so called "prophecies" that seem more demonically materialistically inspired than GOD❤️s Word (especially, anything refering to a 3rdtemple to be built with too materialistic depiction of grandeur, opulence...) and such "little evil things".throw human minds under the bus. Regardless of the above, a faithful person will be able to read the whole Bible without noticing these vile errors because the Very HOLY SPIRIT OF YHWH❤️ guides them and screens the words in the text for the faithful to read ONLY YHWH❤️s LIVING WORD.

Answers in Genesis
From archaeology to astronomy, evidence from many fields points to the veracity of God’s Word.
Though written in several genres and three languages by approximately 40 authors with various backgrounds, writing styles, and purposes, the Bible maintains a consistent message without contradicting itself. The Bible is divinely inspired and inerrant throughout. Its assertions are factually true in all the original autographs.” Those are bold claims, but how can we be so confident?
Some people claim that the Bible is riddled with errors. Their charges against Scripture generally center on scientific and historical matters, such as the age of the earth, the origin of man, and the evidence for the flood and other major events described in the Bible.
We cannot use the scientific method to prove whether certain conversations took place, such as God instructing Noah to build an ark. Nor can we use it to demonstrate whether a historical event resulted in a spiritual truth, such as Jesus’ death on the cross paying for our sins.
But while we can’t examine all the Bible’s details by scientific or historical inquiry, we can investigate plenty of evidence that corroborates biblical details.
Archaeologists have located scores of buried cities located precisely where the Bible describes. Excavations have also uncovered an abundance of evidence for events and individuals mentioned in the Bible. For example, several seals belonging to King Hezekiah have been found, and in the past decade, another one was unearthed just 10 feet (3 m) from a seal that may well have belonged to the prophet Isaiah, one of the king’s advisors. Furthermore, consistent with the biblical accounts, ancient war records from Assyria detail Sennacherib’s conquest of Judean cities and cryptically imply his unsuccessful siege of Jerusalem. Critics challenge the historicity of certain biblical accounts, but their arguments are often silenced by new finds.
Scientific evidence for the Genesis creation and flood accounts abound within other disciplines as well. Astronomical research on short-period comets in the solar system yields data consistent with the biblical timeline. Because they break down relatively fast, these comets cannot survive for millions, let alone billions, of years, as evolutionists imagine.
The biblical flood account is corroborated by geological evidence around the globe. The violently eroded rock surface called the “Great Unconformity,” caused by the initial rising of the floodwaters to cover the pre-flood land, is found across every continent. And only above this “Great Unconformity” do we find all the rapidly buried and preserved graveyards of megascopic fossilized animals and plants, representing the destruction of all pre-flood animals and plants outside the ark, as described in the biblical account. We find also the same rock layers spanning several continents, indicating that they were deposited on a global scale at the same time.
Anthropological investigations among ancient cultures have revealed hundreds of flood legends sharing an uncanny number of details with the biblical record. Similar legends correspond with the Bible’s account of man’s creation and fall and of Babel.
Biological research, particularly in the field of genetics, has shown that one “kind” of animal can never be transformed into another kind of animal over time because it does not possess any mechanism to acquire the necessary new genetic information to evolve into another kind. This observation that one kind does not change into a different kind and that variation is only produced within a kind matches Genesis 1, which repeatedly states that God made the animals as distinct kinds to reproduce “after their kind.”
Paleontologists have uncovered dinosaur remains containing soft tissue and blood cells, which could not exist in fossils that are millions of years old as evolutionists assume. But these finds are consistent with the biblical account of those bones being buried thousands of years ago during the flood.
The central events described in Scripture—the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ—have as strong historical support as any event in ancient history.
All these reasons and many others provide compelling evidence that the Bible is true. However, even without these supporting evidences, we should believe the Bible primarily because it is the Word of God. Since it is impossible for God to lie (Titus 1:2), the Bible must be true in all that it affirms.
Significantly, the Lord Jesus Christ treated Scripture as being authoritative and without error, stating that it cannot be broken (John 10:35) and citing it frequently to correct those in error and respond to their questions (Matthew 12:1–8).
The Holy Spirit, given to all believers (2 Corinthians 5:5), grants us the ability to recognize his Word (1 Corinthians 2:10–14), instilling in us a steadfast confidence that the Scriptures he inspired are true.
