Aside from the fact we never got a clear answer as to McQueen would continue racing after being Cruz's crew chief, I actually really liked it. They had fun racing on Willie's Butte, the pictures of Doc being proud of Lightning next to McQueen being proud of Cruz was heart touching, and the Fabulous Lightning McQueen paint job was just Faz-eriffic

Yeah and I like what Pixar done on Lightning McQueen with the Fabulous Lightning McQueen design but with the 95 and Rust-eze logo. Honestly, I think it looked way better than the alternate ending version of lightning McQueen’s Fabulous Lightning McQueen design with 51 and Dinoco logo from “More than new paint” because Sterling’s betrayal looked less meaningful to be honest. I still like the ending where Lightning McQueen and Cruz Ramirez were considered the winners of the Florida 500 due to sharing the 95.

I like how it ended with them racing in Willy's Butte though, but I didn't like where Cruz was racing for the 2nd half of the race but then again I respect McQueen's decision, and besides he did say, he'll continue racing

I’m not a fan of the ending because Lightning McQueen should’ve been the Florida 500 winner and honestly they really should’ve use the deleted scene where Lightning McQueen wins the race
