America we all lost today, whether you hate him or love him- his assassination just shows how violent American politics have become
We have people cheering over his death for supporting the other party- (same can be said for both parties) and for his political views. He wasn’t rude, he wasn’t extra, he was a young, polite, right wing debater that would let you speak and debate in an organized manner.
He was crazy big with the youth- then I see comments on news post- “now will republicans support gun control”. We didn’t have this issue a long time ago, we’ve defunded mental health services and the American youth has grown extremely hostile and violent, banning guns won’t do anything just like how the war on drugs didn’t help either.
Politics isn’t a ride or die with the party of your choosing
“I’ve been a democrat for the past 3 elections, the republicans are idiots!-“ “I’ve been a republican for over 10 years, i hate em libtard soft handed idiots-“
No, you’re choosing a candidate that fits your best interests and needs. You’re not picking someone because they’re republican or democrat- it’s if they’re actually a good fit for the job IN YOUR EYES Again it’s not a ride or die- personally, I believe in a strong military and strong border security- but I also believe that healthcare should be expanded and made more affordable and available. The point is to see both sides- and following a cult fan base (of both sides) isn’t healthy for American politics and has sparked more violence and hate.
But he had a wife and kids and didn’t deserve to be murdered, no one should be harmed or killed for their political views.
But it happens a very terrible thing, but at the cost of freedom- certain crimes will occur. There a time where America was seen as the good guys in most eyes- what happened?
