Watched another video They said it has foveated streaming not foveated rendering and that means they can concentrate most bandwidth where you’re looking to give extreme supper sampling and the game doesn’t have to have anything special. I think we need to look into this feature a lot more before throwing this thing out. The actually image quality might be great.

Not for me, I’ll wait for the Quest 4, hopefully with decent FOV & eye tracking

where is the cable? Please tell me it's not standalone. My quest 2 battery lasts 30 minutes low volume, low brightness, plugged with usb c to my pc...

So disappointed in many ways. Crappy LCD, no color passthrough, no DisplayPort for the ultimate experience when doing sim stuff, in many ways this is a huge disappointment. Foveated rendering is the only part that is interesting. If this is close to 999 then the Pimax Dream should destroy this thing for any vr enthusiast.

Cool. Maybe... What is it? I fear its another extra proprietary device that runs add and ingame purchase based slop games. All yours for >2000€ Or 500 now and 100/mo for 24 months...

So this should be the new Valve Headset "Steam Frame" and the Steam console "Steam Machine". Nice!
