I don’t know, I’m extremely skeptical without Kojima at the helm. I mean Konami on their own already showed they were irresponsible with the franchise.

Cautiously optimistic. Knowing how petty Konami is, they’ll probably throw something in there or change something from the game that Kojima made just to spite him. I’m still excited for the idea of MGS coming back.

Hoping for the best. Expecting the worst. They gotta be very faithful and respect Kojimas vision. Especially if they add anything to it.

Konami has to earn back trust. Especially without Kojima on board.

I don't think they going to mess this one up ,it just going to be a remake with better graphics. Hopefully they expanded and don't do like Capcom did with resident evil 3 remake

Being made by Konami alone, without Kojima, I have literally 0 trust. But who knows?...

I hope it's primarily a remake with modernized graphics and maybe some polishing, QoL, etc. editions. I don't know if I trust Konami to make newly creative additions to the story or mechanics without Kojima.

I was kind of expecting a remake of Metal Gear Solid, but 3: Snake Eater is a great homage to the roots of the series. The franchise has been dormant for almost a decade at this point. For those that say they're cautiously optimistic, remember Kojima not being there won't really change the DNA of these games as they already existed from his ideas. This isn't Metal Gear Survive. As long as Konami sticks with high quality remakes like Capcom's RE engine has been doing(this looks like a new engine they're showing footage of), then the games they turn out will be fine. The franchise could use a fresh paint job for a newer generation who wants to experience these legendary titles. They can be really hard to get nowadays.

I'm very excited and optimistic. However, there's a lot of room to fuck it up, starting with whether or not Hayter is on board.

They didn’t say who was developing it. If it’s bluepoint, then I’m all in!

I just want to be able to play all three on a new console. They could just do straight ports and I’d buy it
