For me it’s Paid In Full. I have respect for 2001 and recognize that it solidified Aftermath and Dre’s comeback, but very few rap albums compare to Paid In Full. Impactful for it’s time and influential till this day, not many album’s especially from the 80s compare. It also has aged well beautifully only sounding better with each listen. Rakim’s impeccable flow is like no other at the time and is still fresh today. I enjoy all of these options but I’ve got Paid In Full on this one.
