Funny to think the Tank went from being non existent to this with 4 years of development, and the most recent tank for the British armed forces, which is basically an upgrade to the last one, has been in the works for 40 years or something at this stage.

Only one driver was needed, which was a significant improvement over previous tanks. It also had a considerable range of approximately 225 km. And as you can see, a master of pirouettes. π

This is an amazing clip to see today. Imagine the effect it had in 1918. A monster turning on a six pence was unbelievable, even today. It is like a comparing a lorry doing a 3 point turn, and the old horse and cart turning on a sixpence (if you have ever seen a horse drawn carriage turning you will understand what I am trying to say)

Instantly thought of whipping around a parking lot in a car, truck on ice and snow. πππππ

Yes indeed an impressive piece of machinery called TANK because it resembles a water tank cube shape object. It was terrifying for that period, very noisy, exhausted moter fumes filled the in side intoxicating the crew, the cannon smoke and noise was unbearable, i drove one once in an expo easy to drive usual leaver friction for left and right, center gear and friction pedal, and break pedal. Exactly like a tractor. I can only imagine what hell it would have been like during trench war fair.
