Kevin, are you OK? Last we heard you were gonna be testing the Camaro, and then suddenly black out. Nothing from you or Steve... At least give us a heads up that you're ok. I understand getting burnt out on filming, but you got us hooked and now we're worried that something happened. Let us know if we can help you out...

We were 5.10 - 5.30 "floating index" racing in Memphis and the surrounding 250 or so mile area as far back as 2008, and we called it Mean Street. We had chips in a bag that were drawn by a random racer in the staging lanes before the 1st round of qualifying. The index could be 5.10, 5.15, 5.20, 5.25, or 5.30, depending on the chip that is drawn. It was wildly popular, with as many as 46 cars at one of the Holly Springs Fall Brawl events. These were basically ALL guys who tried class racing like X-275 but were quickly priced out when the technology and updates required to stay competitive quickly spiraled out of control. These are basically high 4 to low 5 second cars who had nowhere to race. Mean Street was a godsend for all of us. I still have two 4 second turbo Fox bodies in my shop, both of which are $100k cars, one of which hasn't been together in years, and the other that only gets run once every year or two because there's nowhere to run a radial car that isn't competitive in any class racing and we don't want to street race or risk wadding it up no-prep racing. Index racing is a GREAT solution. We loved it, and Mean Street is beginning to make a comeback down here. Thanks for what you're doing, Bill. I'm a lot older than you (61), but I'd like to think I'm not done racing. Time to blow the dust off and get back out there.

Hey Kevin, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Seriously though what's up? It's 2025 and we haven't heard from you. I hope it's nothing to do with those A holes over at CJ Race Cars, even though that was a pretty dick move cutting Mullet in half on video. I'm sure Cleetus had something to do with that as well...they wouldn't have done it without his approval. I personally lost a little respect for both of them, but especially Cameron because he manned the sawzall. Regardless, I hope you get back to posting videos about what you do best... performance and fabrication, plus shop antics/updates!
