Apart from Developing a Core Message, my next choice would be keeping it simple. I overthink and overwork things which prevents me from finishing songs. It would be great to learn to let a project go and move on.

I often use simple wording that has a deeper meaning, and think about how each section demonstrates the core idea when I’m writing. But it can be a challenge to develop a story arc. So I’d love help with that🙃 Usually my songs paint a picture but not a full story so that’d be coo

Kippie, your advice on daily writing has been transformative. Yet, I find myself doubting my approach to structure and rhyme, even when borrowing elements from other artists. I've encountered guidelines suggesting 7-12 words per line for verses, but I'm uncertain how to implement these effectively. Do you align with these suggestions? Also, I understand the importance of varying line lengths, but I'm struggling to determine the right extent of variation. My attempts to segment phrases with slashes only led to a bland outcome. Furthermore, moving smoothly from verse to chorus remains a significant hurdle for me. I'd greatly value your insights on achieving more fluid transitions and creating distinct song parts.
