Most of the time it’s due to maintenance at Boggo Road or South Bank, so they use the crossovers at Roma St and have trains run the “wrong” way back across of the bridge

Brisbane Heavy Rail Trainspotting™
I wonder why some services are terminating at South Brisbane station during this particular track closure.
And yes, this has taken place before (I am aware), it just is quite oddly specific to me.
