Omg I feel like you're talking about a comment I posted somewhere and then deleted. I wasn't targeting you at all, and if you saw my comment, sorry 😭. I started to think more about this topic and how my comment looked which is why I deleted it. I wasn't talking about your channel; your subs are some of the most inclusive and diverse. I really like them. I was talking about bloodlust and related channels that use white supremacist and neo-nazi jargon. I saw a particular sub by bloodlust that triggered my rant. We definitely need more diverse subs in the community that cater to everyone and you're providing that. I come from a very color-obsessed and texturist household so I'm easily annoyed when it comes to these topics. I also have a yellow skin tone and I deal with uneven tanning and hyperpigmentation so I can relate to insecurity about it. I'm glad you posted this because it allowed for misunderstandings to be cleared, thank you

thank you for putting this out there and I agree 100%. I myself am lightskin and use your subliminals but I’ve seen you actively cater to other skin tones and people of color to diversify your channel and I think that’s great! I don’t find you to be a fetishizer at all, unlike a lot of channels who ignore how the content they put out might look to others and then push their curiosities under the rug, further alienating their viewers.

I don’t understand why it’s a problem when people make them about mixed ppl. People can be fickle. This is so real! I have like an olive/yellow undertone but I really admire that golden and neutral undertone that some people have…and I have different hair textures as well (blaming my mum because she put keratin in my hair and I miss my full curls😢

I’m not light skin but I still use your subs I just use dark skin subs to block out the other affects and even if I did get lighter I could use other subs for that to go back to my original color your subs are such a peice of work🫶🏾

I just want everyone here to remember that all or at least most of my subs were made just for fun. And my lightskin subs are personal. That's why it's so precise on the skin tone and eye colour and hair texture etc. If you read the benefits you can actually see that there are always little details that differ like maybe beige skin tone in one sub and a more honey/caramel skin tone in another sub. Some people called me hypocritical or weird for posting those subs because "if you're lightskin already then why are you posting subs for lightskin beauty ? Why do you add affirmations for a lighter skin tone ?" And it's actually because I'm yellow 💀 i really want a peachy, warmer undertone and sometimes I really want a skin tone like Tyla but I'm just yellow lol. My skin tone is actually one of my biggest insecurities because it's so odd. And in winter my skin becomes so pale and it amplifies that yellowish undertone to the point that my veins become visible (especially under my eyes + it amplifies my dark circles) and it's like...so embarrassing. And I have a loose hair texture but I have multiple hair textures on my head (ranging from 2c to 4a, I'm serious) so it's really hard to take care of my hair. And my mom who has 4b/c hair just braided my hair all my life but she didn't know how to manage my curls and I even used to not wash my hair with shampoo but with laundry soap because it felt "cleaner" (💀).
So really this channel is not a propaganda channel like I'm not trying to convert darskin people into lightskins 😭 I also struggle with confidence sometimes and I'm also confused with my identity and that's really why I'm trying to bring more diversity by making subs for mixed people. So no I'm not influenced by Bloodlust (it's incredible how people arrived to this conclusion) and I do NOT want to be associated with her. I've literally been cancelled once for not wanting to make a sub because of that. I don't wanna change anyone's race, it's just for us because we struggle too and we're just like all the other submakers that make subs for darkskin people and add darker skin affirmations and who take certain celebrity as reference of their ideal. I really do the same thing. And I know that people feel like I'm fetishizing lightskin people but I'm not.
I needed to say this because I want everyone to understand that I’m not the “weird” person they think I am. I’m a lightskin mgm girl who’s just trying to offer more representation, build a community where everyone feels comfortable, and celebrate more diversity. I hope more people will join this community and make it even more inclusive :)
