No planning went into carving this spoon; the purpose was having a tool to breathe and get some peace and quiet.The tool is not the spoon but the carving itself and the wood as a partner in this peaceful journey.It taught me to trust the process and let my intuition and the soul of the wood lead the way.And like that, I always end up with pieces that I truly love, that have the story of the wood inside them and my own story as well.This small spoon is carved from plum wood and finished with walnut oil, and from now on it will aid me in my journey of ice cream eating🍦😋
