Fighter: The Revenant - Fight, Die, Repeat [The Heretic's Alchemy]
This subclass was heavily inspired by Dark Souls (I’m sure you can tell)
I wanted to capture that relentless undead vibe where death is just a checkpoint, like respawning at bonfires, except modified to fit in grimdark campaigns for D&D.
Balance-wise, the HP fracturing though it reduces your hit points maximum, actually makes you tankier, because any damage over your death threshold doesn’t carry over, and deadlier, thanks to the buffs you gain in death.
