Lovin this loanstar. They are like nothing else on the road.I saw one at a show here but it came over from the UK.I like the styling and the paint on this one is outstanding....and loads of chrome too.....pure class.By the way I liked the PT crusier too,so different from the plastic crowd...

Those IHCs, reminds me of that one black conventional tractor with the evil face,on Maximum Overdrive, having said that,I think it was a nine look blending old style with contemporary, nice work Scotty.

There's a tow company about an hour south of me here in FL that has one of these with a 50-ton Century heavy hook bed on the back, absolutely gorgeous rig & they always keep her shined up. Look up PTS towing & I think you'll see a couple of pics.

I wish they still produced this truck in the Harley Livery. Might be enough for me to go back OTR.

Its too bad that GSF got bought out. They had such a cool show fleet. Theres a couple trucks still around, but visors are taken off, lights removed. Theres only a couple silver and black trucks left. Goin the lease route with Internationals, Volvos and whatever else Penske or Ryder or whatever company they're using has.

Our Truck Of The Day for October 12th, 2025, is another look at Golden States Foods' X-1, an International Lone Star, seen this time at the 2017 Truckin' For Kids show in Irwindale, California. The polarizing looks of the Lone Star isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I like their art deco-like styling. Please 👍. Thank you, enjoy.
