calling the police on children for a lemonade stand, that’s a special kind of evil.

I love this. I used to sell lemonade at the end of my driveway when I was a child. I'm sixty years old, and it brought me great joy and responsibility❤

Shame on Ms Anonymous! Look at that beautiful child doing something wonderful. Good on the officers and little girl!! Hope she sold out.😊

It is a shame that innocent children can't sell lemonade or cookies orwhatever without an obviously jealous person making a big deal of it! Cheers to the officers and others who support these kids!!

A Lemonade Stand is the MOST POPULAR EVER during a Hot summers day , a nice quenching icy cold lemonade 🥰

Anytime I see the two little girls down the street running their lemonade stand, I get so happy. One of them excitedly waving at cars to get them to stop, the other doing cartwheels on the lawn. Not a smartphone in sight. It’s such a productive, healthy thing. Their lemonade is always terrible but I still give them $20 because I want to support them. I can’t believe someone else would see that same thing and think “I better call the cops on those little troublemakers”.

I work in one of the utilities department for my local municipality. I was told not to dine in for lunches because of "perception"... Wtf, people really bitch about seeing city service workers sitting down to eat lunch for a half hour? Apparently, yes, that was a thing. Not a once or twice thing either

People who wallow in misery can’t stand happiness. They want to crush it but sometimes just a ray of sunshine saves the day. Thank you officer for being that little girl’s ray of sunshine. Not every hero wears a cape. Sometimes they wear a uniform.

I can understand why someone like that would want to stay anonymous. How sad it must be to have a heart like that

I’ll never understand why people call on kids doing this. They’re staying out of trouble and learning valuable life skills that will benefit them later in life. I try to keep cash on me specifically for the kids that do this. I give them a lot more than what they’re asking for and make sure each kid gets a good tip. I hope it encourages them to not give up and to keep going. ❤

In Utah, we solved this problem by creating the “lemonade stand law” which states that minors cannot be required to have business licenses to have lemonade stands or similar.
