I hate the linguistic phenomenon of "protected groups" because it implies that there are groups of people that don't deserve protection based on their race or sexuality which kinda sounds like textbook racism to me. Actually, I really fucking hate the term protected groups, it feels like vengance against majority groups (ie white straight males). Like the potential mental health struggles of the individuals of those groups are somehow less important than the individuals of those protected groups. I hate modern society, I hate activism, I feel so hopeless about the future, I want out. Out of this fucked up world. Out of this life. Out of this place.
