In July of 2025... how are you feeling about A.I.?

@AlexKurilovMusic

It's kind of sad that people assume that everything is AI these days. I have to put notes to mention I didn't use AI in my work. The other day someone asked me what prompt I used to generate my comment, whereas I've written it myself. My long term artist friend who is very good at detailed digital art has to constantly defend themselves from AI allegations. I myself started looking for more flawed and amateur art in the search of authenticity.

I don't fear AI, I fear what companies will do with AI and how it'll encompass creative decisions

I hate that now, every single short film festival is asking wether you used some kind of AI on it.

I wasted three years of my life in school for a job that’s been made obsolete (advertising copy) by ai bots.

Brain is like a muscle - if we don't use it, it will atrophied. And unfortunetly AI is doing it with our minds, not because of design, but because human nature. We will always choose faster, easier path to achieve goals, even if it hurt us in long run. I wish some people, instead being super positive about it, show some healthy dose of criticism. Like, guys, did last 10 years teach us anything? Look at social media - instead bringing people closer, it separate us even more. Or dating apps - instead helping us findind partner they turn into cesspool of narcisist and hook up culture. The technological advancements screw our psyche and soul.

I'm part of the jury for a film festival. The amount of short films made up of meaningless compilations of AI generated shots IS ASTONISHING.

@danielforlano

I use it for autocorrection. It helps me edit and choose words. As far as dependency, that scares me.

@m3ow0n

I use it every now and then to give quick rubric critiques on writing at 3am

Wish it didn't exist. Learning what I'm learning now about it, spiritually, is not something I want. In the book of Daniel, in the bible, chapter 12 verse 4, it said, "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book till the end of the time: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased."

I want AI to do my dishes and cook my food so I have more time to write and create, not vice versa

There should not even be a debate about using AI when they haven’t figured out the copyright issues and the way it’s impacting environment. Once those things are settled, we can actually decide whether it’s a good tool or not. Isn’t it astonishing that a product that’s not even ready is already launched? I’m not for nor against it but it is very selfish to ignore the biggest issues of it and use it just because it can make things easier (as of now). It’s the same with social media, it was launched before enough regulations. Why should we pay the price first and then have the regulations (not even all of them)?

@jibernish

I think it's very dangerous.

@GodOfPlague

I like it. It is helping with coding ebooks and relearning HTML for the process. Otherwise my projects would be stuck on hold.

I think it can be used for good if people use it wisely. But people are people and do anything BUT be wise.

I have a lot of low level technical questions and gear settings etc. that I can get a serious answer and they work, but go anything deeper it fails, so as a secretary it's a good help. Not even touching the generative aspect with a long stick..

I’m in the middle like all I use and see be beneficial is chat gpt and Ai tools that can organize and manage brands and products nd things of that nature all the other Ai stuff is just integrating reality with fake imagery and that can be cool and creative with things like art and sometimes movies but not cool when a person claims to be real but it’s a bot or put out fake news and ppl who use Ai for rage baiting💯but your gonna have your pros and cons right

I don't have a CIRCLE of "Readers". So I use CLAUDE and GEMINI to evaluate my screenplay. >> It gives GREAT CONSTRUCTIVE feedback! 😊
