In Berlin cherry blossoms are a symbol of unity, because the trees were planted alongside a former strip of the Berlin Wall after it came down in 1990. The trees are a donation by the Japanese people, the money was collected via a TV show. Once a place of terror it's now one of the most magical places you can visit in Berlin in spring 🌸🌸
