Richard Nixon Foundation

There could be no greater enterprise than to build a structure of real peace. The struggle to protect freedom and build real peace can raise the sights of Americans from the mundane to the transcendent, from the immediate to the enduring.

Nixon knew how to deal with the Russians.

The photo was taken on the historic Karlovmost/Charles Bridge in Prague. I've been there. I can't claim I was walking in Nixon's footsteps, but it was fun to know we'd visited the same place. ๐Ÿ‡บ

That's definitely not what he did in Vietnam and its neighbors. But he did with the Soviet Union and China I'll give him that.

Nixon's priorities continue to age like fine wine... In a time where forces seem intent on consuming Mountain Dew.

I was in college then. As the only foreigner in an all-girl dormitory, I could not believe they put their own presidentโ€™s poster next to Maoโ€™s on the door of the bathroom. Shame on those girls, hope they are wiser now.

Great President and Statesman. I was honored to become an American Citizen while he was President of the United States of America. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

It was in 1988 here in Finland. I was having a beer with my brother with two Irish men. We talked about USA and the other agreed with me. Nixon was a great but underrated President. I was a kid back then but I haven't changed my mind...โค

A time when we had real statesmen before it descended into the South Park Show we have today.

Nixon == The last Great United States Statesman; i.e., all of our leaders post-Nixon have proven themselves to be quite weak in comparison.
