I really love this anime. Back when the anime streaming wars kicked off, I'd been rewatching this on VRV, but then Funimation pulled a massive amount of their shows from the platform to form their own streaming service. VRV knew their anime sector was their biggest draw and begged everyone to please not leave, giving all users two months free. Given that VRV had also given me a month free when I managed to surprisingly help them with an issue I guess they'd been getting a lot of emails about, I decided to stay, since, to Funimation's credit for the crap they pulled, at least their streaming plan started at only like, $7. The only difference between that base plan and the higher ones was that maybe you had to wait an extra day for a new episode of something and you didn't get monthly merch or discounts to the merch store. So, it was a decent value given how massive Funimations catalogue is. VRV still had Code Geass, but subbed. I'm used to hearing Lelouch dubbed and couldn't stomach the subbed version, so this one show was a major factor in me making my decision. And now, the kingdoms of both platforms have met their demise. First, Funimation's service fell (*snort*) and they merged with Crunchyroll. Talk about a corporation's hubris. VRV was already part of Crunchyroll, or eventually during its lifetime became part of it. But then it completely ceased to operate, 100% moving over all its content to Crunchy. And just like that, both were right back where they started. All roads lead to Crunchyroll (at least until something also happens to them. I currently don't have the service but that admittedly would be a sad day. I promised to not pirate shows so long as dubs and subs lived under one roof and Crunchyroll has provided that). Sorry, very odd ramble and anyone who sees this is probably thinking "Nobody asked!" 😂 I can't see Code Geass now though without thinking of that weird moment in time for anime streaming around like, 2018 to about 2022 or so

I’m working on finishing up If Anime Hot Takes Were Illegal 4 now! It’s been a bit of a process adding streams and working on skits but it’s been a fun process. I’ll try to have it out by tomorrow or Wednesday.
I may do short streams today/tomorrow but I have a lot of editing and filming to catch up on that I may possibly postpone the streams until Wednesday.
