Mark Himley

My fellow music producers, composers, and artists - are you interested in getting free samples every single week??
If so, I’ve got something I’m excited to share with you. This has been in the works for quite awhile and it’s officially launching tomorrow, December 1st!

Free Samples Friday is my new weekly newsletter for music producers, sound designers, composers, artists, and anyone else interested in receiving free samples and bonus content every single week. Every Friday you'll receive (at least) 5 free samples. (Tomorrow, the first week of Free Samples Friday, contains 22 samples.) These are 100% custom made, 100% Royalty Free samples you can use in your productions. These weekly samples will be a variety of:

-Unique Foley Samples and Field Recordings
-Cinematic/Trailer Hits and Impacts, Booms, Braams, Bass Hits, etc
-Drum and Percussion One-Shots (Kick, Snare, Hi-hat, Clap, etc)
-Drum and Percussion Loops (Full Drum Loops, Hi-Hat Loops, Percussion Loops, etc)
-Risers & Downers
-Transitions and other similar FX
-Atmospheres and Drones
-More

Also I will often add bonuses that may include:

-Additional Samples (beyond the first 5)
-Free Synth Presets I've Made (Serum, ANA2, Omnisphere, Falcon, etc)
-Tips & Tricks for Music Production & Sound Design
-Free Resources
-More (Basically anything I come across or create that week that I think you'll find valuable)

What you will NOT find in Free Samples Friday are melody and chord loops. I want these samples to be sync-friendly and I want you to be able to use all of these samples freely in your productions without worrying whether or not you'll get into trouble if/when someone else also uses them.

You may use these samples however you like in your own derivative work (i.e. you can use these samples in your music productions for free, with no royalties).

You may NOT sell these samples, include them in your own sample packs, or license them in isolation (i.e. you can't license a riser or trailer impact I make to a trailer, you have to use it in your own productions creatively). Basically just use some common sense and be ethical. These are samples I'm making and giving to you for FREE to use in your productions.
