As we approach the Easter weekend, I’d like to share a few personal reflections with you.
Growing up as a non-denominational teenager in a predominantly Catholic neighborhood gave me the unique opportunity to explore spirituality with an open heart and mind. I was free to decide what I wanted to believe in and how I wished to experience the world. I remember a friend once saying, “When I grow up and can decide for myself, I’ll leave the church too.” Whatever path she chose in the end, it was—and remains—a deeply personal decision, as it should be for each of us.
The most important guide in such matters is your own heart. Tune into what feels right for you in the present moment. Spirituality is not about dogma—it’s about connection, authenticity, and trust. And yes, it might sound idealistic to say “Everything is possible if you believe in it,” especially when we witness how human rights are still violated around the world. But that’s precisely why faith is so powerful.
As the Bible says: "Faith can move mountains."
Good Friday invites us to reflect on profound truths that remain relevant today. Didn't Jesus come to remind us that we are all divine beings—capable of healing, loving, and creating light in the world? His message of unconditional love, unity, and inner power challenged the systems of fear and control that dominated then—and still linger now.
Fear is a heavy energy. Whether it’s fear of lack, judgment, or the unknown—it suppresses joy, blocks love, and limits our potential. And while the headlines may suggest little has changed over the past 2000 years, the truth is: we do have the power to choose. We can choose love over fear, openness over division, trust over doubt.
Let us open our hearts to the positive energies that surround us. Let us learn to see with compassion and hope. And let us be inspired by those who already live these values every day—quietly, humbly, and powerfully—just as Jesus did, welcoming all regardless of religion, background, or identity.
Wishing you a peaceful and soul-nourishing Easter weekend. With love,
