Hello my dears! I would like to share a few thoughts with you about Easter.... As a non-denominational teenager, I grew up in a Catholic neighborhood. In this environment, I had the freedom to decide for myself what I wanted to believe in and how I wanted to experience the world. This freedom made my friend think: "When I grow up and can decide for myself, I'll leave the church too." However she decided, it is only a personal decision and should not bother anybody else. Listen to your heart what is best for you at that time. Everything is possible, if you just believe in it. I know this sounds quite naive if you look, how others human rights around the world are still trampled over with feet. I want to give you a quote to show you that light within us can move mountains or as it stands in the bible:
"Faith can move mountains"
The deeper meaning of today, Good Friday, is more relevant than ever. Didn't Jesus want to show us that we are all children of God and that we can heal ourselves? Unfortunately, the open mind, love and positive energy that Jesus wanted to convey to people did not sit well with those in power. It is clear that humanity can only be manipulated and controlled through fear, like the fear of scarcity for example. Fear is a negative and pulling down energy. Call it what you want, but when you are in fear, you are not able to feel and experience joy, love and happiness.
Our daily news may give us the impression that little has changed in the last 2000 years. But we can consciously choose to change and open our hearts to the positive energies. When we learn to see with our hearts, we realize that positivity is all around us, just waiting to be embraced and lived. Many of our fellow human beings already live according to these principles, which gives others hope and can serve as an example. Let us take an example from Jesus, who consciously and openly approached people, regardless of their religion, skin color or gender.
