Honestly I don’t blame the studio, I blame the producers. 8Bit had to animate 7 anime this year and with a staff of only 70 too.

martinkiings is a chilean animator that worked on Blue Lock and he spilled the tea of why its this bad on his tiktok. its all in spanish but basically he was supposed to work on 5 eps but quit early on ep 2 bc of low pay and short time to animate and even the work he had finished wasnt used in the end, frames were cut and whole scenes werent used (i assume bc there wasnt enough time or staff to finish the post production) at the end he shows few seconds of his animation that wasnt used

I still love the characters and stellar stunning soundtrack though, sure the adaptation isn't doing the manga justice currently but watching every episode is still enjoyable after all its blue lock at the end of the day preparing for one of the most hyped and anticipated arc in the anime industry and community.

I guess I’ll find out what I’m missing in ur vid, but I think it’s hype af. But I’ve literally never read a single about it on the internet or the manga. In my anime only vacuum, the way it’s written makes it as engaging as death note or demon slayer to me. If people are complaining about the action I could see that but I watch it for the tourney/mental games aspect. It could literally be words on a screen for all I care
