How much $$$ would you have to be offered to move to Alaska permanently?

If you are struggling to figure out why it's so rough out there, watch my video: Truth About Living in Alaska No One Talks About https://youtu.be/hE8Ownr3iUE

74 year old black Vietnam veteran. 10 million dollars a year. I was stationed in Alaska. The cost of living is very expensive and they don't like BLACKS. With a 3 month vacation.

I'll take the 10 million, I want to set myself up comfortably in Anchorage. I won't leave the house all winter...

100k is not enough to buy property and house. 1 mil and I'd be there!!!

I grew up there. I am not going back

An idea for a future post: I'm a rockhound, so what about naming and elaborating on the designated State Mineral and/or Fossil for all 50 states?

A Cabin, Toilet, and Running Water is all I need.

Nothing could induce me to move to Alaska.

@Beautyy

Enough to be able to buy a house there

I’d move there for nothing if I had a reason to and it was affordable to live there… but if someone was gonna say “here’s $10 million to live here” I’m not gonna knock it back.

@mattplante1314

I've chosen the lowest amount because I'm a Canadian. So that being said I would move for free just for the leagal documents to live and work in the United States 🇺

@Steve-318

A million would get me a home with plenty left over to invest and make interest. I'd be taking a long vacation every winter though.

@FlashoftheBlades

I lived there for nearly four years and I badly want to go back.

I would need enough to pay for everything you would need to live there. Tools, vehicles, proper appliances, power generation equipment, housing. In order to be independent of others. There's a lot a person needs to have to have a good go at being able to homestead properly in Alaska. The environment is no joke. Then of course a job to go along with everything. In order to make enough money for the upkeep and maintenance of everything because of the environment.

@Daniel-jk7pe

Just give me a cabin with a well and I'll go for free

@fade2black244

It's way too expensive. Most people out there are rich because most things are either imported or you have enough money to harvest it yourself.

It should be mandated that you read it before you take the seat.... btw you should also have to justify your vote.... that goes for voting citizens too
