I got recommended the alpha jay video, and my first thought was 'That's an interesting video premise, but I'd rather hear awe talk about it as I prefer his style' and then it happened, so i'm very happy you made one covering it. And as others have said, there is pretty much no possibly way you could've seen alpha jay's video, written the entire script, voiced the entire thing, gathered all of the footage and edited all of it in under a day, so there's not really anything to worry about.

When a few tubers cover the same topics, they're going to step on toes from time to time. It's when thumbnails, phrasing and multiple episodes occur in sync we get paranoid.

No worries! This is very typical for content creators across the board, whether it’s games, music, tv, when something new happens creators talk about it. I like both channels and not once did it come across as you stealing. I’m sure more videos about Squilliam’s return will be made.
