This woman is always a trip to watch. A horrible, HORRIBLE person, denied parole again and again and again, as she should be! This case happened in my part of the country, so it was all over the local news through the whole thing-she claimed she was out on a sightseeing drive (at night) with her 3 young kids, and she stopped for a stranger in the middle of the road. He shot her children as Diane fought him. She had a GSW to the forearm that she claimed the stranger did; found to be self-inflicted. If you’ve never see the clip of Diane reenacting the incident for the police, and LAUGHING while she showed how the stranger shot those babies, check it out. PURE EVIL! I can remember the entire case like it was yesterday! And God Bless those children! ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹 In 1983 when she murdered Cheryl (7), while trying to murder Danny (3) and Christie (8) —she left them both with disabling injuries. In an amazing twist, they were both taken in and adopted not by biological relatives, but by the lead prosecutor in Diane’s case-an amazing, loving couple! Diane got pregnant again during her trial, and that child was also adopted out. Ann Rule wrote a fantastic non-fiction book on the case, really a good read with incredible details.
