Sounds great man! One thing though : don't fall for the pressure of pumping out videos too quickly. I'm sure we all subscribed for the quality of your work and not the rate at which you upload. What you do is amazing, and your plan sounds great. As long as you do you, things are going to be fine!

Hey my man. The shift in content sounds like a good thing to me. I have enjoyed the extremely high production quality of your videos but since your time is limited, being more efficient with straightforward reviews makes sense. Whatever you upload I’ll be watching it, thanks for the great content!

Quality videos for quality lights is the reason I am here. Your standards are high, I understand you have room to let up on pushing yourself. You have skill to produce quality and quantity, but I hope you don’t feel pressured. We don’t want need quantity videos, like we don’t want cheap lights. We appreciate your B roll. Thank you!

Damn. Your B-rolls are the stuff of flashlight legend. I'll be sad to see those go. Take care of you, man. Personally, I just appreciate the content. Thanks for what you do.

As they say... no good deed goes unpunished. When you do good work, the reward is a growing pile of obligations. So, I know you hear this a lot, but... take care of yourself.

Damn, this is unfortunate but I will still be here for the incredible content creation. You do deserve your own life and honestly I just really appreciate the passion and effort put into these videos. I at least ask that you go all out for certain lights? Like the D4V2 video, which is one of the most well made videos I've seen on this entire platform. I even got my gf, who is definitely not into flashlights to watch the whole thing because of the how well made it was. Keep up the great work, but make sure to take time to yourself, I know I will still stick around and tune in

Don’t change a thing regarding quality of videos. Those of us with intelligence understand that quality always beats quantity

Hello everyone! Just a channel update for you guys ~
Many of you watch this channel for the flashlight reviews, and I am glad you find them both helpful and enjoyable. While I really enjoy doing these videos, I am extremely busy and have a pile of lights that I have committed to reviewing, which I need to get through before too much longer.
There are so many lights I would like to review, but I cannot possibly do an in-depth video for everything, especially not every new and exciting release coming out now. As you know my videos are usually released months after the lights are, being very time-consuming to produce.
I have been wanting to move away from doing product reviews and instead focus on more general flashlight topics, tutorials, and comparisons. I only have so much time to dedicate to video production, and I would prefer to invest it more into guides and explanation videos rather than reviews.
For all these reasons, I am going to start uploading much simpler reviews from now on, and the fancier videos will be less frequent. Hopefully this means uploads in general will be more frequent and more lights can be covered, but things will probably still be slow for the channel this year, I have too much going on for frequent uploading to happen.
I don't intend to compromise the quality of the videos, merely simplify and shorten most of them. There will likely be more traditional table-top style videos with additional b-roll, and plenty of macro shots since those are so popular. There are still a couple fancy reviews I have been putting together as well, which will be pretty fun when they're ready.
While I would like to cover a wide variety of different lights, videos on enthusiast-oriented lights (especially from Emisar/Noctigon) have vastly outperformed my other videos. I also just enjoy those lights a lot, so for those reasons, enthusiast lights are going to be the primary focus for future videos. They have really stolen the show with many new and exciting variations coming out at rapid pace, and I want to be able to help answer the questions people often ask about these lights. I don't have every individual product to compare, in particular I have yet to get any from Lumintop, but still I want to focus on some videos that will help people get into this world of needlessly awesome flashlights.
So there are going to be videos on firmware (usage and reflashing), LEDs, and beam types. Since most of my audience seems to be composed of enthusiasts, I want to make videos for that niche before moving into more general topics, including more general explanations on flashlight design, performance, batteries, etc. Don't worry though, those general flashlight videos will be coming eventually. Because they will be intended to reach a larger audience, I want them to be as cleanly and professionally produced as possible so that they are easy to understand and effective.
BUT I don't have a specific schedule for most videos yet, so things are flexible. Anyways the point is that I have a lot of ideas, and some cool new videos are in the works, but I don't have the time to go all out right now. So I'm just going to simply things and have some fun with it. I hope you guys enjoy the videos, and I hope they are helpful to you. Thanks for your support!
