Actually it’s not a completely bad idea Not all people with wheelchairs have useless legs, a lot of elderly people just have weak legs that can’t support their weight well. When an elderly person gets a wheelchair, one thing often encouraged is to push yourself around the house with your feet so your legs don’t waste away more. Pedals would actually provide a great way for people like that to continue to exercise their legs.
