Maybe make the top answer: “See Results” A lot of people on poles just pick the top one to see the results

Damn. Sad balance is losing. It’s underrated how tough that is. I think that’s most of my work. I think fun is simpler than people realize and it’s a topic done to death. No fun is noticeable right away and the reason why is clear. But balance has a lot of moving parts and takes a lot longer to notice a problem.

I want all of these, but balancing games is probably the one I want to see most, because I’m really bad at it lol.

When watching your last video, I was interested in "How to manage scope" more than anything, I'm throwing it out there.

we're already living in a black hole within a universe ruined by AI, i think the Unicorn might have failed...

Most curious on how to make an appealing game tbh, as it's the most difficult thing to figure out.

[⚠️Wall of text warning⚠️] On topic of balance, I hope the video would discuss how to address player feedback on balance. Mainly, that there's a key wisdom from software development, but which applies to game-dev as well: "Users are ALWAYS right about finding a problem. User are SOMETIMES right about formulating what the problem actually is. Users are ALMOST NEVER right about the solution." (I couldn't find a definitive source but many developers said some slight variation of this) I consider this important because I have an experience from many gaming communities, where people were unhappy with the state of the game, and came to a consensus on what the devs should do. But a consensus that, if examined critically, is completely baseless and would just make everything worse. And in many times, it did. This happens because players don't actually know what they want. And devs who listen to them uncritically may fall into the trap of "overbalancing": removing all that makes a game feature strong or weak. They may think that freedom of play-style choice and player expression means that every tool given to the player should be equally good in every context. But player expression can come from choosing the context itself. For example: A player that likes going fast may choose game-modes and maps/levels where going fast is the optimal play. As an example of things going wrong: Any shotgun in every competitive first-person-shooter. They are terrible because people keep losing to a shotgun player in close quarters, and then complain, "This is unfair, there's nothing I could do in this situation! Nerf shotgun!" Except... they could've have done something: not get into the situation in the first place. If a player engages an opponent incorrectly, they deserve to lose. The solution here would be communicating to the player what to expect and how can they improve, not giving in to their demands. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

I'm very thankful that most of us agreed to not choose the AI option. Let us not talk about or even mention the word AI.

I feel like the business side of game dev gets talked about a lot (not that it's a bad thing), so I would love to see more pure game design videos.

If you have the auto-dubbing function available for new videos, please turn it on, especially for Ukrainian.

I'm mega scared about Ai, I am trying to become a Unity dev, or game designer, and my learning process is much slower then off a robot. I wonder if I'm wasting my time and I would love to hear the opinion of a successful dev if Ai is gonna destroy the devs

Very hard to pick one, but I managed :) You have great topics listed. Thank you for your educational videos and for letting us vote for the next one.
