Thanks all your hard work and fun and educational videos in 2024. A happy 2025 to you! An idea for a topic / mini series: as people are moving from other editing programs to DR / DRS it would be helpful to cover how to transfer old projects to DR. In my case I started with CapCut but grew out of it (hit its limits). But I don’t want to keep the software forever just to be able to access old projects. So, how can I import them to DR(S)? Might apply to others coming from other SW as well.

Topic idea: What are the ways to have cloud based projects? There is Blackmagic cloud of course. What others? Especially for hobbiest editors.

I always struggle in fusion. Even after watching Casey explain it to me multiple times. Also need to learn some new skills as using the same methods. Anything you make will be great ;)

Glad you're back, dear Alex! I'd like to suggest a tutorial focused on optimizing DaVinci Resolve presets / workflows for users with less powerful hardware, with key areas to cover like initial setup, editing techniques and helpers (using proxy media, optimizing timelines), pre-rendering complex effects, cache management ... Thank you :)

@pallasplaysyt

I'd love to see both as someone who's new to editing knowing when to use J cuts vs L cuts vs Jump cuts still confuses me. Isn't there more cuts than just those 3? I fee like there was more. See I need practical experiencing applying all the various cuts to really understand it.

@RobertHooper

Loved your Mac Mini review. It made me itchy to switch from Windows to the Mac OS, especially with the Black Friday deals and the looming end of support for Windows 10 in October. My hardware is not Windows 11 compatible. REQUEST: Share your workflow and any insights you have gained from working with Windows and Mac OS. Any thoughts and comparisons? I really enjoy your videos, Alex. Consider venturing beyond the usual topics and discussing tech, as suggested by your YouTube channel's name. It would also be great if you could include some affiliate Amazon links for any purchases. Thank you.
