Fact is they lasted that long. I'm pretty sure huge majority of 2025 laptops gonna be dead by 2030.

I always cherish all my "retired" laptops, don't and did not cared if my parents saw them as "trashy" they worked for me, spent time with me, were a part of my life, they must not be forgotten. Pc Ost: "You Have A Friend In Me" - Toy Story, Pixar

I’m not even in my 20’s yet, but I still remember gaming on box monitors and that beast of a laptop with a built-in DVD player and with the keys all fallen off. We had to prop it up on two wooden brick to prevent it from overheating. The good old days.

Well if it still holds up for the games I play, then I'll keep it. I don't need to fix what ain't broken. I mostly like old games anyway, but my 2010 processor, an i5-2400 is still surprisingly good enough for some modern games. It must have been top tier for its time.
