I need your help with something! So my Fidget brand "Fidge" has been going amazing so far (thanks so much), I'm now developing new products for the future and some of the ideas I have are larger items. Most of my orders are international orders so shipping for larger items would change from the current £5 to £9 to ship larger items to US etc. I'm battling with whether to just stick to smaller items to keep shipping prices down or whether to develop larger items, but I don't want to lose your guys interest due to higher postage. What's your views? Would you pay £9 ($11) for postage for a larger item? Or you think it's the smarter move to stick to smaller products? Honest feedback welcome, it really helps me! 💖

@havokaine

I always expect a $10 shipping minimum when I order overseas, so that’s absolutely fair. I’d go for the larger items personally too!

Usually ordering anything from overseas, especially from small businesses, I expect a $10 shipping fee at minimum so $11 feels really reasonable! Especially for how much love and hard work you can tell goes into all your products 💕

To be honest for me personally it always depends on if I'm making a larger purchase or a small one. If it's a small purchase and the item is too close to the shipping costs, I'm not willing to pay that much. If I'm buying more anyways, I'm okay with spending a bit more on the shipping. So basically it's all about the ratio for me.

I think $11 is a very fair shipping cost! I think if anything most shipping costs are higher so I think this is totally reasonable

If the higher postage is just for the larger items I don’t see why it would bother anyone, as the small items will cost the same to ship.

Oh I would definitely pay for the increased shipping, its such a small increase. However me personally I just prefer smaller items and would go for those instead.

I would pay more for postage, certainly! You are by far my favorite asmrtist and I am so grateful for you! I am autistic and struggle so much with anxiety. Your videos are always SO positive and colorful. They help to keep my negative or scary thoughts away 💕🥹 You perform absolute magi

I was honestly shocked that the international shipping for my Fidge necklace was as cheap as it was. I probably would have fully accepted the $11(£9) shipping cost on the smaller package. So I would definitely still buy a bigger item with that shipping cost.

@enolagardens

i think with a startup brand you need to keep a smaller lineup and maybe just test bigger items one at a time to see how they sell. don't overwhelm yourself trying to get too big too fast.

I can’t comment on this specifically as I’m in the UK, but I have ordered from brands in the US and Australia before and have been happy to pay the shipping. I think because you’re transparent you’re shipping from overseas, customers expect and are willing to pay an increased shipping cost

I'd pay for postage on a larger item. I also expect a higher cost when I buy internationally so it's not really a surprise.

I also have a small business, and I find that when I’m wanting to add something new, I just make a small amount of the new thing available at first (for you, you could try larger items with higher shipping prices) and if it does well, I add more! Love your work!

I'm going to be brutally honest... I was excited for updates about the launch and then when it got here and I went to the website I was shocked. You can absolutely raise the prices not just for shipping, but for the actual products. They are unique, quirky, quality, and made by a celebrity 😆 Know your value! And make sure this is something that makes it worth your time too. We all love your products. Don't worry about charging a little bit more for shipping. We all expect that with international items. Keep up the great work!! PS I'm excited for potential Christmas items :

@e11a85

honestly you should do you! but i definitely notice that people do usually charge £10 for international shipping no matter the size of the item so honestly this is very considerate of you to want to know other people’s opinions! but also make sure you are getting the right price because running a small business can get costly at times for the owner!

@yourcherrywaves

In the end its up to us what we buy so why not give us the Opportunity to buy a larger Product?:)

I was surprised at how cheap shipping was to the US this time- I’ve paid like $12-$14 for domestic shipping plenty of times, so $11ish for overseas shipping is still super reasonable IMO. I’d happily pay that for a larger item!

$11 dollars for shipping is pretty normal if you order a big item from eBay or Etsy. I think it would be a great idea!

@zoereecie

i think thats a fair cost! especially since the smaller items shipping wont change, so there are still things they’ll be able to order :)
