Deep Look

📢PROTECT MY PUBLIC MEDIA📢 — Hey Deep Peeps! Deep Look’s stunning close-up wildlife videos are made by KQED, the nonprofit public media station in San Francisco, California. KQED, like other public media stations across the United States, is largely funded by viewers like you. But a foundational part of our support comes from the federal budget.

Currently there's a rescission bill being deliberated by the U.S. Senate that would clawback federal funding for public media previously approved by the U.S. Congress. Make no mistake, a reversal of this funding, which has been the funding bedrock of the U.S. public media system for fifty years, would have major implications for public media stations like KQED.

We need your help to protect the funding already approved for KQED and the 1,500 public media stations across the country that together provide the public safety backbone that helps keep our country safe, educate our youngest learners with free high-quality children's programming, and foster cultural connections by serving as a trusted source of information and facilitating community dialogue. The rescission vote represents the biggest national threat public media has ever faced.

We love making Deep Look, but the future of federal funding for public media and science programs like this one is at risk. If you live in the United States *Contact Your Senators Today* go to 👉 bit.ly/ProtectMyPublicMedia
