NEVER romanticize any sort of issue. My alcoholism is not cute. I despise my drinking, I have passed out, blacked out, been sick, hospitalized, harmed myself, harmed others and many other stupid things. I have struggled with addiction and mental health issues for as long as i can remember, self harm and all of that stuff will never be cute. its a horrible issue many people go through.
