I think it's fair to scale this to the anti-parasite gun.

G-man height = 260 px
2atan(tan(35deg)(260/420)) = 46.8697798 deg
Using angsize calculator, Distance moved = 69.21 m
Beam speed = 69.21/0.01 = 6921 m/s(Hypersonic +)
Blocking formula = (Distance the character moved in meters) x (Speed of projectile in meters/s) / (Distance the projectile was away from the character when he/she started to move in meters)
