@PeacePetsAndPlants

This sounds like disociative identity disorder, sadly with lack of resources for help and or guidance. I feel sorry for this person.

This looks like someone - a young person probably - who is dealing with psychosis of some kind. I would recommend guiding them to some mental health resources instead of publicly posting their situation for others to make fun of.

While I know it's probably tiring always seeing weird messages, this text comes off as a person potentially suffering a mental break rather than being a creep or scammer. Idk it doesn't feel right to be publicly making fun of this one anyway.

I think this may be a kid that's scared themselves. Especially since they probably don't have access to funds and thought they could pay through magic. It looks like the writing of a pre-teen who is probably struggling with reading and writing, is thinking faster than they can record and stuck in cyclical patterns. This type of run-on, confusing sentence structure with incomplete thoughts is pretty common with children that have learning disabilities. As someone who is dyslexic, but had the good fortune of receiving the reading and writing help I needed as a kid, I still flip and drop words when I'm writing because my thoughts are moving faster than I can record them.

@mothsprojects

this looks like someone dealing with a psychotic episode, especially with the sentence structure and the loop they seem caught in :( I get you probably get a lot of weird messages, but one featuring someone struggling seems like the Least appropriate one to post publicly

@arieller4218

Posting something that seems to be making fun of someone suffering from their mental health is definitely a choice.

It’s like this was written using predictive text.

@cody42693

This honestly is either a troll or someone not mentally well. I think it's the latter. I don't know. Is it a good idea to post them like this? I know you would never intentionally mock someone, of course. Just sometimes we jump the gun and share things without consideration first. Just my thoughts. If anyone wants to discuss it, reply below. I'll listen to your take. I'm not here to argue or blame anyone, don't worry. Just questioning if we can do better as a community.

Mental health issues shouldn't be joked about like this. Someone seeing this after having a severe episode/ having some level trust in a public practitioner. Could result in emotional or physical harm to this person from their reaction to this situation. I don't think the person or the practitioner who posted this is doing it out of malicious intent. However some care should be taken when posting things like this. It's not uncommon for people with schizophrenia or severe mental health issues to stumble into people who are public figures and react to them. It's just a sad situation.

After reading some of the comments here, can I just add that it's not your responsibility if someone makes a tit of themselves by frankly, being weird. Yes, some folk have issues. So do I. It doesn't mean I put them on someone else, particularly a stranger on the interweb. I'm not saying we should take the p*ss out of them but if you send people weird messages that's on you. Olivia lass, put your own oxygen mask on first. Always.

I know it must be tiring to get these kind of messages often, but I wish you’d consider maybe handling them with a little more compassion. Coping with the fatigue of being seen as a kind of magical savior with humor is one thing, but to not mention any level of understanding is callous. Spiritual psychosis is a big issue in the witchcraft community and I wish more content creators would understand that whether they set out to or not, they’re going to be seen as leaders

@thedandelionsage

a lot of people seem concerned about whether or not this is someone being mentally unwell and therefore questioning the ethics of posting this but I'd like to point out two key details here: we have absolutely no way of telling whether or not this person is unwell, trolling, or just Like This and therefore drawing a conclusion is impossible/inappropriate to assume. also there are no identifying details, no names or even usernames, and without identification theres no real way to connect to, find, or potentially harm the individual. furthermore regardless of reason messages like this are weird and inappropriate. being even potentially mentally unwell doesn't entitle or excuse the actions you take. it takes time and effort to type out and send a message, it isn't a mindless action, and perhaps by posting these publicly more people will see the impact they're having and be more inclined to think twice and seek help from someone whos JOB it is to help them, from friends and family and professionals, before sending a complete stranger, someone who doesn't know you and won't help you, on the internet something like this.
