Wow, I'm so grateful for all of your understanding and support! I just scheduled the video for TOMORROW MORNING AT 9AM, it's a short one but really so incredible to look back on all the work I've finished. I did not add the Q&A at the end like I originally planned because I decided it was okay that it wasn't as long as most of my videos. Perhaps a longer Q&A would make a good next video and then I'll have time to answer all your questions.

Your audience seems like the hard working type that would completely understand you taking as much time as you need… God bless you!

Your work and videos are always interesting & informative 👍. Understand the fatigue one must feel after a long & difficult project, but do not feel you let us down or feel forgotten. Quality, skill and your lovely image & smile always come through for viewers. Take some time to relax, travel and treat yourself to some nice dinners too. Enjoy

I can only imagine how difficult it is to work so hard to get only a few minutes of actual video to post and to keep coming up with fresh Ideas. I just completed a flaoting shelf project for my wife. She wanted shelves that were 36 inches wide and 8 inches deep and she wanted to place somewhat heavey objects on the shelves. I loved your floating shelves but I needed to make them extra strong without sagging. So I found a guy on youtube who drilled 7/8 in holes into the heart of the studs and then he filled the holes with liquid nails and then shoved 3/4 threaded rods into the holes. He built his shelves and then placed them over the rods concealing them. Those rods are so strong that I could do pull ups on them if I could do a pull up lol We'd love to see your rendition of shelves using that fellas technique.

You deserve a rest. Love your honesty! Question: is there anything you would have done differently? Hired out instead of DIY? What's the plan for the house? sell? Best wishes!

A list of the most essential tools for DIYers/home owners for whole house remodels would be great! Also, what are your plans for the house? Rental property? Flip? Live in?

What’s the one tool you couldn’t have lived without throughout the entire renovation and what’s one tool you don’t think is necessary for a DIYer to own?

Young lady, with the fruits of your labor evident to all who admire your work, and knowing what it takes to achieve it, never do you owe me or any of the good people watching, an explanation for your down time. Recharge girl!

I can only imagine the amount of work the lake house took! A nice rest was well earned for sure! Take as much time as you need! A question I have is, is there something you did yourself that you feel would have been better to hire out? For instance, xyz was so much work that the cost of a contractor to do it would have made sense rather than put yourself through that. Just curious as I am also wanting to start a fairly large remodel and am trying to determine what would be worth it to hire out.

Omgosh, don't worry! Please take care of yourself first. I think it's better to be flexible with "content schedules" or even have none at all. Some of my most fav creators just post when they have smthg ur passionate about posting, and it has always been worth the wait!

No need to apologize, take as much time as needed for yourself. When you come back, those who really appreciate your work will still be here.

Welcome to the Woods
Why haven’t I published a video in two months!? Well… if you don’t know, the last couple years I have been working my butt off renovating a lakehouse almost entirely by myself. At the end of November when I finished the hollow core door makeover, I was finally done! A wave of fatigue and burnout washed over me…and I was not prepared for it. I didn’t feel burnt out until the holidays approached, I slowed down, and I realized I seriously needed a break. Nobody can work all the time and these 12 minute videos do not adequately depict the countless hours of tedious, sometimes strenuous labor I’ve taken on to renovate the lakehouse. It’s super hard to stop publishing as a content creator; it feels like the more hours you work the more you gain traction, following, money, etc. It’s addicting. I also feel like I’m letting my core audience who enjoys watching every one of my videos down. I hope I haven’t let you down and that you are anxious and ready to see the whole lakehouse remodel revealed in one video! It’s edited to be pretty short so I’ve added a special q&a session at the end. The video drops THIS SUNDAY! Now - what questions do you have you want me to answer in the q&a? As always - THANK YOU for watching ❤️
