🌴 What I Ate in a Day in MIAMI (Plant-Based Edition) 🌱
A lot of people think eating plant-based means you’re limited when traveling or eating out — but trust me, Miami has some of the best plant-based options out there! Here’s what I had in a day 👇

🥞 Breakfast – Smoothie Spot
Started the day with high-protein waffles topped with strawberries, blueberries, and bananas 🍓🍌🫐.
Peace Café is a Japanese fusion vegan restaurant that only uses organic ingredients and cooks everything with alkaline water to reduce inflammation and promote healing. Every dish is made with love and intention — clean, high-vibe energy from the inside out.

🥪 Lunch – Vegan Cuban Cuisine
This spot is a must-try! I had their Cuban sandwich made with jackfruit instead of pork — 100% plant-based, but still packed with authentic flavor. 🇨🇺
Before I found this place, I thought I’d never get to enjoy a proper Cuban sandwich again after going vegan… but this one brought it all back. Crispy, juicy, and full of flavor — without the cruelty.

🍓 Snack – The Carrot (Surfside)
Next up was my go-to Açaí bowl from The Carrot. I’m big on açaí, and I’ve tried bowls all around the world — but this one is hands down one of the best. It’s refreshing, nutrient-dense, and loaded with antioxidants — perfect for a mid-day energy boost in the Miami heat. ☀️

🍛 Dinner – Jrk
For dinner, I went to Jerk — they’ve got a full restaurant in Miami and even a pop-up in the Aventura Mall food court.
Their vegan jerk “chicken” made from Daring plant-based protein is insane! Served with rice, beans, curry, and plantains 🍛🔥
As someone with West Indian roots, it’s hard to find good plant-based Jamaican-style food — but these guys nailed it.

🍣 Late Night Bite – Plant-Based Sushi from Target
Yes, you read that right — Target! Found this gem in one of their Super Target locations. 100% vegan sushi rolls that actually taste amazing.
It’s rare to find healthy convenience food like this at big retail stores, but it’s proof that plant-based options are going mainstream 🙌

This is everything I ate in a day — all plant-based, all delicious, and all fueling performance, recovery, and longevity.
