Patreon/video production update time! So, the situation:
- I don't know if I'm gonna have a video done this month. (I'm working on it, and it'll be out when it's finished, it just might end up in January.)
- I was planning on taking a break for a bit afterwards to focus on working on Avenge Myself, since it's been hard to make that and videos simultaneously, and I want a demo ready to go for Next Fest in February.
- Up to now, I've been trying to get videos out monthly since y'all are paying monthly and I'd feel like I was shorting you if nothing came out in that time. That's obviously not gonna keep up. The plan was to switch to per-creation billing, but Patreon, in their infinite wisdom, are removing that because Apple doesn't like it and would block all subscriptions through the iOS app if they kept it. Even though iOS app subscriptions aren't desirable anyway since Apple takes a chunk out of them. Point being, I'm not sure if there's actually any way to not charge everyone during those months.
Point being, videos are slowing down for a bit so I can focus on the game, but with how Patreon works you'll all be charged monthly either way, so act accordingly.
For those who do stick around (or have joined previously), anyone whose lifetime pledge comes out to more than the price of the game will get a Steam key for it and their name in the credits on release. More details on that closer to then.
