I like the warm sound of my Boss DM-2w. It gives me what I need, and nothing I don't!

Considering how the music community in the 2010s are allergic to digital anything, I’m shocked how well digital did.

They all have their uses, I personally find tape delay to be the most musical sounding

I currently use an Ibanez DE7 and a Donner Revecho. They both sound great to me. The Revecho is a good option for a tight budget. I've never really given it that much thought as to which kind i like best.

Depends on the unit itself. But if I could choose only one I would with digital.

To be honest when I use delay I generally use multiple delays for different texturing purposes lol, tho my absolute favorite combo is a reverse delay into an octave/shimmer delay with the octave/shimmer on a long tap time, my own little dizzy interpretation of frippertronics

Im not sure what the right answer is.. reverse delay is my favorite.. but a DD8 has reverse delay as well, so I'm going with that, considering my favorite setting on it is the reverse mode..

My go-to delay sound is the Strymon dBucket on my Timeline. I made a preset that sounds just like my old MXR Carbon Copy

Bwoah, hard one. I really really love the volante the most. But closely afterwards is the timeline digital algorithm and the DIG.

I've never played an original tape head delay unit, But I know it's the sound I mimic with my digital units.
