YESTERDAY, WHEN PRET AND JG HAD THE FLOOR, DID THEY BOAST IN THE CROSS OF CHRIST? NAH. -SEE GAL 6:14 “@Tim Smith If you can point out and argue the moral relativism the Universalist carries in their worldview, this will effectively undermine their entire position.” — SAYS JG
Galatians 6:14 Now may it not be mine to be boasting, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Romans 3:27 Where, then, is boasting? It is debarred! Through what law?
We have good news on this channel, dear one… really good news.
The good news that we present… is that God was in Christ doing something amazing. There, He was conciliating the world to Himself, not reckoning their offenses to them. You can find the memo about this over in 2nd Corinthians 5:18-21. The cross, and all that it accomplishes and achieves, is the core reason for this channel and all our efforts. Nothing else is worth talking about, really. So, we can say that, by and large, the ‘christian’ religion is all about morals and ethics. They are blinded to the grand activity that God was doing in Christ’s cross. And let me say up front, God, in the cross, was NOT making salvation merely “available” as an “option”. When pressed, the ‘christian’ … concerning the cross… will say that “Yes, Christ died on the cross, and now, salvation is available. It’s an “option” you have now… you don’t have to go to hell… you CAN be saved IF…” And if you stick around long enough, you’ll find that the lists of IF’s is long. IF… you repent. IF… you obey. IF… you endure. IF… you get baptized. IF… fill in the blank, depending on the ‘christian’ denomination you’re being seduced by. That it!!! Christ’s death on the cross… according to them, provides nothing more than an “option”. A “possibility”. A “chance at salvation”. According to them, the cross is no guarantee of anything. According to them, God was NOT in Christ accomplishing anything at all. According to them, your salvation is accomplished by your own actions and behaviors. They don’t revel in the cross of Christ. They don’t glory in the cross of Christ. They don’t boast in the cross of Christ. To them, the cross is a garnish on the dinner plate… it’s not the main course… it’s cute… interesting to look at… but to be ignored mostly… a mere distraction. To them, the “steak” on the dinner plate is your works, your activity, your doings, your behavior, your morals, your ethics… these are the things that save you and do what the cross could not and cannot do. I mean, check out this ‘christian’ message from JG… “@Tim Smith If you can point out and argue the moral relativism the Universalist carries in their worldview, this will effectively undermine their entire position.” There, he clearly says, that if JG and his ‘christian’ pals can argue FOR or rather, AGAINST, “moral relativism” then, they can undermine our position about the efficacy of the cross. OK, let me get this straight — JG sees or understands that our argument that Christ’s work on the cross saves us all… is an argument for “moral relativism”. Jees Louise. What does “moral relativism” have to do with anything? After all, SIN is SIN, right? Who cares whether or not it’s a grievous sin or a ‘nice’ sin? Sin is sin… and Christ DIED for Sin, all sin and all sinners… and why can’t those boys see this? Hell no, they got some kind of sliding scale on sin… and they blather about “moral relativism” and why it’s bad (sin?) to suggest that some sins are worse than other sins? Well, I have it on good authority, that Christ died for sin. It’s a grand and glorious statement found in ‘the word of God’. And I have it on good authority that Christ, on the cross JUSTIFIES all sin. Yep, you find that memo in Romans 5:18… one of the most hated verses among the moralist preachers of our day. Romans 5:18 Consequently, then, as it was through one offense for all mankind for condemnation, thus also it is through one just award for all mankind for life's justifying. Get it? This verse says… one sin… just one, little ole sin… brought about the condemnation of all mankind. And it was an innocent ole sin… Adam just ate a piece of fruit. Get it? He did not kill anyone. He did not have sex with the preacher’s wife.. He did not sell pyramid schemes… no, he just ate a piece of fruit. Talk about being persnickety. God condemns all mankind because Adam ate a piece of fruit? I mean, Adam wasn’t all that smart, right? He was one of the most ignorant dudes in the history of our grand story. He was IGNORANT of both good and evil. Oh, sure he had it good in the garden. But you can’t know “good” until you know both, good and evil. Adam, our father… was ignorant. Very, very ignorant. God promised him DEATH if he ate of it… but what did Adam know about death? It was an unfair conversation. God had something up His sleeve. JG and the ‘christian’ universe are blind to the doings and the purpose of God. Romans 5:18 Consequently, then, as it was through one offense for all mankind for condemnation, thus also it is through one just award for all mankind for life's justifying. So, this one “offensive” act… eating a piece of fruit… results in ALL MANKIND being condemned. How does God respond? Oh my, God sends His Son to the cross… that is the “ONE JUST AWARD” mentioned in verse 18. And what does the “ONE JUST AWARD” do? Rejoice: It JUSTIFIES ALL OF LIFE AND ALL OF MANKIND. How does it work? How does it play out? Don’t ask JG or the ‘christian’ preachers… They’ve no idea what God was doing IN CHRIST’S work on the cross. 2 Cor 5:18 Yet all is of God, Who conciliates us to Himself through Christ, and is giving us the dispensation of the conciliation, (19) how that God was in Christ, conciliating the world to Himself, not reckoning their offenses to them, and placing in us the word of the conciliation. (20) For Christ, then, are we ambassadors, as of God entreating through us. We are beseeching for Christ's sake, "Be conciliated to God!" [“FORGIVE GOD, FOR GOD HAS FORGIVEN YOU.](21) For the One not knowing sin, He makes to be a sin offering for our sakes that we may be becoming God's righteousness in Him. They are too busy, busying themselves with good, moral activity. Believing falsely that their own moral actions and behavior will earn them a place in the “kingdom”. I wish them luck. But, I’d rather trust the salvation of God… than to trust my own doings in the matter. Why would JG want to “undermine” our whole position? What would that achieve? It’s what he said. Check it out: “@Tim Smith If you can point out and argue the moral relativism the Universalist carries in their worldview, this will effectively undermine their entire position.” If JG and the ‘christian’ blatherers, successfully “undermined” our “entire position”… would that make them proud somehow? Would they boast in their accomplishments? Would they then rest easy on their laurels? Are “morals” relative? I can say YES — Morals are relative to God. Because God insists on sin, and insists on saving mankind from sin. If we don’t sin, there is no salvation from sin. David sinned. Murder. Stealing another man’s wife. Etc. Moses murdered an Egyptian. Saul/Paul, was not a happy camper, and yet, he is a “PATTERN” of those who are about to be believing. (1st Timothy 1:16) 16 But therefore was I shown mercy, that in me, the foremost [sinner], Jesus Christ should be displaying all His patience, for a pattern of those who are about to be believing on Him for life eonian. Are “morals” relative? Well, Paul says somewhere, if you break one “law” you’re breaking them all. But Paul’s more glorious message is that SIN is not a tough and impossible obstacle to God. That, in fact, SIN IS A PRE-REQUISITE to salvation. Thank God for sin. (Romans 6:17). I am so happy that JG and his ‘christian’ pals are such good, moral people. May God reward them for their outstanding behavior. Meanwhile, I don’t give a crap about my “good moral behavior”… but I am immensely fascinated by what God accomplished on Christ’s cross. Let is rejoice in that.
