I had the great pleasure of seeing you as Norma Desmond in the first performance of Sunset Boulevard in Taipei on August 2, 2025. I traveled all the way from Kaohsiung to watch your performance, and it has become one of the most treasured moments of my life. I’ve admired you since I was a little girl, and seeing you bring one of my favorite musicals to life was truly a double dream come true. After that magical afternoon, I bought a ticket for the final show on August 10, 2025, eager to see you again. I was deeply disappointed to learn that you had fallen ill and would not be performing, though I attended the show regardless. The understudy gave a fine performance, but she simply wasn’t you. Your portrayal of Norma Desmond is phenomenal—layered with vulnerability, ethereality, sensitivity, and delicate nuance. It’s an interpretation that, for me, feels profoundly convincing, as it evokes a strong sense of protectiveness. I could fully understand why Max, the butler and former husband, would go to such lengths to shield her in his own twisted way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for a performance that I will never forget. Every single moment with you on stage was a gift. Please return to Taiwan soon—I wish you a swift recovery and look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

I was blessed to be able to see you most recently when you performed in Taipei last month on 7/19, during A Starlight Symphony. It must be devastating to catch Covid as a performer. I truly hope you'll recover fast & without any long term side effects, because I absolutely can't wait to watch you live again Sarah ❤️

i thought it, but never said it but you were in the worst places for COVID u were in China, Wuhan ..I had it but not felt too bad, but other than that vaçcines more than likely saved my life

I’m heartbroken to share that I have contracted COVID-19 and will be unable to continue performing as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard in Taipei.
It’s devastating not to be able to finish this week’s performances. I’ve absolutely loved every moment on stage here and have been deeply moved by the warmth and enthusiasm of the Taipei audiences and fans.
Thank you so much for your understanding and support. I hope to return and see you all again very soon.
