I was almost 9 years old when it released here. Now I'm almost 29. Bruh.

Oof. OOF. For the longest time, I had the little preorder tin that contained the battle frontier stuff, I believe? It's been so long. I don't rememberrrrrrr. I think I still have the tin, but not what initially came inside.

Back in the days when pokemon games were named after colors. I miss that.

I remember going to Toys R Us with my best friend to grab our copies day 1. We were in middle school then. Edit: actually I was thinking of Ruby/Sapphire. Still, though.

I remember getting Emerald by trading a friend for a pokemon card. that was my introduction to pokemon.... man, time flies don't it?

Cool. If you want to play it and don’t have a copy of it yourself already, that would be over $200 please! Make your payment to the nearest scammiest person around who will most likely sell you a bootleg version anyways. All this because Nintendo hates emulation and refuses to put these on Switch Online! Thank you Nintendo! And happy anniversary everyone! 😁
