I credit God as often as I can. However, there are times that He directs me to not credit Him out loud. I always say a prayer of gratitude in my heart for all the council God gives me. "In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths."

Jesus said that we are not to cast our pearls before swine. Answers to prayers are sacred and are therefore to be held between God and the receiver alone.

However, the acknowledgment would be subtle and not of boasting. The gratitude would have nothing to do with being public.

He answers our prayers. He knows our needs. He sent His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to save us all from sin & death, that we may be forgiven & live again. I am forever grateful!

That's what I've been hoping for, but gotta see his answer first in order to do so. Something I wish to be able to do sincerely from personal experiences.

No, but not for the reasons people would probably think. I'm a very private person for starters. I don't like to blab about my problems, and inner turmoils. No one really cares to know. Secondly, I have shared answers to many of my prayers, WHEN moved upon by the spirit to do so. But as a general rule, no. They are sacred experiences, that I prefer to keep sacred. I often hear people oversharing very private matters such as patriarchal blessings and I often feel like "Umm... That's supposed to be sacred, and something understood between you and the Lord." A commenter said earlier, "Do not cast your pearls before swine." And truthfully, if the spirit revealed something to you and not to someone else, there's a reason.

The Words of Christ
Would you give God credit publicly if He answered your prayer?
