Yes, I believe in Christ and his atonement I know that he and our heavenly father love all of us very much, and all he wants is for us to repent and to return to him.

His atonement covers all except premeditated murder and denying the son of god to his face.

@danielroification

It would seem that His atonement cannot cover what He deemed the unpardonable sin of denying the Holy Ghost

Christ did say that the sin against the Holy Ghost is the unpardonable sin. So since that's the case every sin isn't covered by the atonement. Sons of Perdition receive no forgiveness because they can't receive a kingdom of glory.

I only say no because of the “Unforgivable Sin” which is taught to be having the heavens opened up to you and still rejecting Christ and all His teachings. Other than that, yes (to my knowledge)

Christ's Atonement can cover every sin repented of, but not those which have not been reported of.

Not the Unpardonable Sin which In the context of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), the unpardonable sin is denying the Holy Ghost after having received it, which is also known as blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. This sin requires a perfect, complete understanding of the truth and then a willful, conscious rejection of that truth, effectively sealing oneself off from God's mercy and the power of the Atonement. Key Characteristics Prior Knowledge: A person must have received the Holy Ghost, had the heavens opened to them, and truly know God. Willful Rejection: The individual must then deliberately sin against this knowledge and God, denying the truth with complete awareness. No Repentance: Once committed, there is no possibility of repentance or forgiveness, as the person has rejected the very means of salvation. What It Isn't A Simple Mistake: It is not a sin of weakness or misunderstanding, but a deliberate choice made with full knowledge. Common: The level of knowledge and experience required to commit this sin is so profound that it is virtually impossible for most people to do so. A Single Act: It's a pattern of denying truth with full knowledge, such as saying the sun doesn't shine while seeing it. Consequences No Forgiveness: The person cannot be forgiven in this world or the next. Sons of Perdition: Such individuals become "sons of perdition," who are separated from God and cannot achieve exaltation.

Murder and denying the Holy Ghost are two that are not forgivable

There are two sins, great ones. One of them is to murder someone and cut off their Eternal Progression. But the greatest is the Sin against the Holy Ghost.

@snowtreeangel

It depends, Murder cant be forgiven if the person is dead.

The answer is NO. The Atonement wrought by the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross cannot cover and does not cover the Unpardonable Sin, which is the sin against the Holy Spirit and His divine Light. 🇵🇭✝️🇬🇧

My big question is; should it? Should everyone who asks be forgiven? The mongols, Huns, conquistadors, drug cartel members, the Manson clan, mass murders. At some point, is there a question of justice being robbed?
