It's a commercial developer kit. Apple will take your money but don't expect them to maintain the value of the device bc versions 2-10 will be here in no time and cost half as much and 5x performance.

It’s very impressive technology, but I’ll wait a few years/generations until it’s even more impressive and hopefully also cheaper.

Walked into a busy cafe over the weekend to grab a coffee. The very first table was occupied by a guy using one. I respect him for not caring about what people think as he’s turning his head and floating his fingers

As a product design engineer addicted to tech and screens, this is where I part from the ship. This doesn’t lead to happiness or a better society. This is dystopian and sad.

I already have one but will probably return it. It’s a cool toy but I can’t justify the expense right now.

I would like to try it, but I’m not enough of a nerd to justify the cost at this point.

Too invasive and expensive for mass adoption. It’s a step in the right direction, but this ain’t it

No interest and don’t appreciate Apple’s domineering approach towards its customers.

Add a "Never" option, you'll be surprised. It's not the same as "No". Try it next time

In my country that’s AN AVERAGE HALF YEAR NET INCOME - no bloody way! One Acid is much cheaper and the trip and colors are waaaay better than w Apple kit!!

I tried other head gear like this. I’ll wait for less heavier but more powerful version… something less ready-player-one style. Headset Feels too dystopian given the movies reference.
