It's okay to record a couple of moments for memories. Its the sad people that stand recording the whole thing for social validation that are part of the problem in today's society

Perhaps ban is the wrong wording but dont use them to film or to make a ton of photos.. The event organizers should have their own teams recording the event that too could prevent all the cell phones and lights pointing..

How would the redistribution of seized phones work? Imagine some weirdo Maga cult member doing a pew pew. Will the attendees have to wait in a line to retrieve the phones to call a loved one? Who will call the police to inform them? What if mom has an emergency and needs to contact you at the “rave”? This has serious boomer vibes. Leave the phones alone and get off my lawn!
