Announcement: New Guidelines for Reviewing Small Hotels

To ensure fairness and objectivity in our hotel reviews, we have implemented a set of criteria specifically designed for small hotels. For the purpose of these guidelines, a "small hotel" is defined as an establishment with no more than 30 rooms or those that operate as a house, flat, or small condominium.

Each hotel will start with an initial score of 5/5. The following points will be deducted or added based on the criteria below:

Deductions:
-1.5 points: If the bedroom is not clean.
-1.5 points: If the bathroom is not clean.
-1 point: If the breakfast provided is of poor quality.
-1 point: If the electrical systems do not function properly.
-1 point: If the room is not suitable for sleep due to noise disturbances.
-1 point: If the hotel lacks adequate security measures (e.g., no guard, no double lock, or if the premises appear unsafe).

Additions:
+1.5 points: If the hotel offers practical amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, or sauna.
Hotels that receive a score below 0 will be placed on our "Not Recommended" list, and no video review will be provided. Conversely, hotels that score above 5 will be marked as "Recommended" in our review.

We believe these guidelines will provide a fair assessment for small hotels that deliver good service at an affordable price. These rules are effective immediately.
